Hi, let me introduce myself! I’m a book, TV and movie obsessed Scottish fangirl who goes by the name of HerDrakness. I’m a HUGE, huge Harry Potter fan! My other fandoms are Smallville (don't judge me too harshly, please!) and old Skool BtVS.

I’m in my mid 20's (Never thought I'd ever be this old!). I write for a children’s magazine though, so I’ve managed to keep in contact with my inner kid! My inner geek has never gone away. I share a small, slightly dingy flat with my best mate from my university days, and I tend to get yelled at a lot for not doing the dishes.

I've loved Harry Potter for years now but I've only recently got into fandom. I'm so annoyed with myself for not checking it out way sooner than this!

Although I've never written any fanfic myself, I'm just discovering how much I absolutely LOVE reading it. My devouring of Clex fanfic has recently been surpassed by my newest OTP - Sirius Black and Remus Lupin - I've become a big Wolfstar fan recently!

I've never had anything like an LJ account before. I'll admit that I really joined up so that I could have access to even more fanfics and hopefully converse with nice folk who are just as fandomly obsessed as I am. Why is it that none of my real life mates seem to be as obsessed with fandom? Most of my friends read (and like) Harry Potter. Many of them watch the same shows as I do - but I'm the only one that seems to get obsessed! I'm the only one who thinks about them constantly and wants to talk about them endlessly! Thank god for the internet - I realize that I'm not alone in being a fan!
